About Us

We let Nature Lead.

When it comes to all our flower design work, we only use local blooms.

This means we use what is in season and available at a given time. Our garden is in bloom from mid-April through frost (typically mid-October). We plant an abundance of colors and flower varieties to give our customers a full display of what nature has to offer!

Meet Rachel Burgoon

I get asked in almost every conversation about our farm and business if I have always been “into flowers” and the answer is NO! I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia where I grew up showing horses. Then I moved to Wenatchee in 2010 with my husband for his work.

Flowers sort of fell into my life once our family bought an acre outside of town in 2020. As a family we love to be outdoors and a big garden was always part of our vision but once we planted just a couple of dahlias tubers I knew we had something special and Feathers & Flowers was born.

I love growing flowers and learning about new varieties. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what grows well in our climate and pushing the boundaries just a little to get the most out of our growing space. What I didn’t know I would love as much as I do is sharing flowers with others! I love that what I grow can bring such joy and brightness into someone’s day.

I look forward to sharing my flowers with you!

  • "Rachel and Feathers and Flowers beautifully crafted my wedding flowers. Rachel was so easy to work with and I felt completely comfortable giving her creative freedom to make our flowers and she hit it out of the park!! I love supporting locally grown flowers and can’t recommend Rachel enough!!"
